Jet AirWerks Established

Jet AirWerks first opened its doors in April 2007 and began the operations as a Part 145 repair station.

2008 

Jet AirWerks Receives FAA Part 145 Certification

In February 2008, Jet AirWerks officially received its Part 145 Repair Station Certification from the FAA.

july 

2008 

Jet AirWerks Receives EASA Part 145 Certification

In July 2008, Jet AirWerks officially received its Part 145 Repair Station Certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency.

November

2008

Jet AirWerks Receives GE Approved Supplier Certification

In November 2008, Jet AirWerks received its supplier certification from GE.

April

2009

Jet AirWerks Approved As Supplier of Critical Rotating Hardware or LLP

In April 2009, Jet AirWerks received approvals from GE as an approved supplier of Critical Rotating Hardware, or LLP.

January

2016

Jet AirWerks Receives Certification by the Civil Aviation Administration of China

CAAC certification allows Jet AirWerks to certify jet engine components for current customers and for Chinese-based jet engine overhaul facilities. Currently, Jet AirWerks has more than 9,500 parts on the CAAC capabilities list.

2017

Jet AirWerks achieves ISO 9001:2008 and AS9110B certification

ISO 9001:2008 and AS9110B certification from the Washington DC-based Aviation Suppliers Association Certification Body (ASACB). This is an Internationally recognized Certification Body which is accredited by the ANSI-ASQ Accreditation Board witnessed by ANAB, conducted stringent reviews of Jet AirWerks processes, procedures, practices, and management commitment.

2024

Jet AirWerks Acquires New Facility for Engine Disassembly

Jet AirWerks' new 30,000-square-foot facility features multiple gantries for engine and module disassembly, along with ample space for engine storage, and future expansion of engine services.

April

2024

Jet AirWerks Completes First CFM56 Engine Disassembly

Jet AirWerks now provides CFM56-5B/7B engine disassembly services with competitive rates and quick turnaround times. Parts can be sent directly to our overhaul facility as they are removed from the engine.

2024

Jet AirWerks receives final approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of the United Kingdom

Jet AirWerks receives final approval from the United Kingdom's Civil Aviation Authority (UK CAA). This certification enables Jet AirWerks to tag Used Serviceable Material (USM) for use in engine overhaul facilities across the UK, enhancing the marketability of USM inventories for brokers.
